We are Tony and Kris. We have
recently moved from California to Oregon and purchased a 20 acre ranch and
are in the process of starting a small boarding kennel/training facility and have started to build the
foundation of our
breeding program by importing the best bloodlines from Europe.
In October 2000 after
losing our Rotti, Sheba to bone cancer we started researching different
breeds on the net. We decided on either a Great Dane or a Dogue de Bordeaux.
After contacting several local rescue groups, we decided to go look at
Danes. We went to a Dane rescue and left feeling more lonely than when we
got there, none of them "clicked". We (well I) then decided to go to an
adoption show at a local pet store. We got out of the car and walked up to
the store. I immediately spotted Monet and fell head over heels in love! I
HAD to have HER, nothing else would do. I filled out all the paperwork and
Tony went in the store and bought her a new bed, collar, leash, toys,
treats, bowls and food. Monet came home with us that day, riding all the way
home with her head on my shoulder. Monet started it all for us with this
breed. Bordeaux' really are like potato chips, YOU CAN'T HAVE JUST
ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We are evolving into breeding kennel
that will produce a limited amount of litters a year. Since
we are heavily involved in rescue, we see what happens when back yard
breeders produce litter after litter and don't care about the future of the
breed. We care about the future of this breed and it's health problems. We
are looking into and learning as much as we can about breeding, genetics and
bloodlines because we want to do it right! We are showing Bacchus, Lotta and
Artemis and are
importing the best bloodlines from Europe to build the foundation for our
program. We have recently finished
Bacchus' health testing and are pleased that he has passed his OFA for
heart, elbows, shoulders, patella and thyroid and also received an average Penn Hip score
for the breed. We will stand behind what we
produce, we will health test, we will follow the code of ethics, we will
show, we will microchip all of our pups and we will remain in contact with
our new "extended families". These are things that responsible breeders do.
With determination and persistence we will produce excellent examples of the
breed and place them in loving homes. Please visit our other site

The preservation and
future of the breed is the core of our philosophy and at the heart of
everything we do.
